Stop littering, Vaughan
Littering is a big problem and we must take action immediately. It is dangerous to our health and causes pollution.
We can help by contacting government, increasing the amount of garbage cans and placing more anti-litter signs around.

Sidewalk litter dangerous
To fix the problem of littering we can have a campaign where we hire volunteers to pick up trash.
We need to stop littering or else the sidewalks could be dangerous and the little ones could trip and cut themselves or they could even break a bone.

Littering affects air we breathe
Littering is a problem because it pollutes where we live and affects our breathing. It’s not good to breathe polluted air because it is not healthy for our lungs.

Multi-family housing is the answer to over-development
There is over-development in Vaughan and our green space is being wiped out.
But I think I found a solution. I think we could build townhouses so more families could live in one house.
We could plant trees and plants on the bit of land left between the townhouses so our air will be clean, animals could find food and shelter and we will reduce smog.

Relocate animals to nature reserves in areas of development
Over-development is a devastating problem in Vaughan due to the destruction of nature and wildlife.
Because of this, animals can lose their habitats and can even perish without a home. Also, in developing areas, there is lots of pollution. Because of that, smog goes into the air and could get into animals’ lungs.
Finally, without any trees or grass, most animals don’t have any food or water to survive.
To solve this, animals in areas of development could be transported to nature reserves where they could live a safe, happy life.

Apartments take up less space
I’m concerned about over-development of subdivisions and loss of green space.
Development is taking away our natural resources such as parks that could be used as a space for kids to exercise. Without exercise, kids could become fat and unhealthy.
One solution is to stop building more subdivisions. Another is to build more apartments because they take up less space.
