Here a Concord, there a Concord, everywhere a Concord.
The community of Concord in New Hampshire has reached out to York Region’s Concord asking if it can participate in Concord, New Hampshire’s 250th anniversary celebration.
Concord is the capital city of the U.S. state of New Hampshire.
ConcordTV in Concord, N.H., is telecasting a live “Celebrating Local: Reaching Global” this Sunday, March 29, hoping people in communities called Concord around the world will be tuned in, as well.
ConcordTV has invited its sister cities and towns throughout the United States and around the world named “Concord” to be a part of its worldwide live telecast.
Concord in Vaughan will be one of the featured Concords during the telecast.
The telecast will be live-streaming from noon to 8 p.m. via www.yourconcordtv.org and will include recognition throughout the day of Concord’s various sister cities and towns named “Concord” within the United States, Canada and the world.
The video invitation and other details prepared for each of the Concords can be viewed on http://www.yourconcordtv.org/concord-on-air/concords
Residents of the featured worldwide Concords are encouraged to tune in all day to catch the segment dedicated to their specific community.
ConcordTV’s staff will be tracking hits on ConcordTV’s website and social media, announcing areas of United States and the world that are tuned in. ConcordTV Facebook new “likes” are encouraged and will be monitored as well.
ConcordTV is a nonprofit organization, incorporated in 1998, located at Concord High School where teacher in space, Christa McAuliffe taught.
Its mission is to help Concord, N.H., residents and nonprofits that serve the Concord community learn to: create video content to enable them to “tell their stories;” and distribute their content locally on the station’s three community TV channels as well as marketing platforms.
