Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) York Chapter acknowledges the issues surrounding the inconvenience of everyday travel and commuting. The streets are filled with congestion, resulting in lost productivity, stress and excessive costs for everyone. In efforts to turn things around, PEO York Chapter is bringing together top industry leaders, the brightest in engineering and transportation technologies, and experts in public policy to discuss the future at the 2015 York Region Transportation Symposium: Engineering the Future of GTA Transportation, in an open forum.

This is the opportunity for people to voice their traffic concerns and have them be heard by those who shape the road ahead. People are encouraged to be the mouthpiece for their community; everyone is welcome to join the conversations, ask questions and share ideas. The 2015 York Region Transportation Symposium is a nonpartisan platform where people can discuss traffic matters with concerned policy makers and also learn about the next steps in transit planning and innovations.
