Vaughan Celebrates WinterFest

People from all over the city came to Vellore Village Community Centre to celebrate Vaughan's Annual WinterFest. On February 8th, families of all sizes were welcome to participate in a number of indoor and outdoor activities. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council were on site for the Official Welcome and to thank everyone for coming. There was free outdoor stage entertainment for the kids to enjoy which featured Love You Forever & More Munsch stage show, Canadian singer/songwriter Vita Chambers, Bounce Entertainment, Doo Doo the International Clown and Ice Queen & Ice Princess Singing Performance. The little ones were excited for the Meet & Greet with Care Bears, Star Wars Characters and Princesses. Hockey fans everywhere were lining up to get a photograph and personal autograph with none other than Toronto Maple Leafs’ Nazem Kadri around 2PM. There was also food available for purchase for all those interested which was available in the Food Zone. Judging by the fantastic turn out at this year’s event, it’s safe to say that this year’s WinterFest event was a huge hit!
