Just three days after a power outage left almost 20,000 York Region customers without power, some residents and businesses in the Greater Toronto Area are finding themselves in the dark again.

Some customers in Vaughan were without power Tuesday morning, as well as others in Toronto and Barrie.

According to a tweet from PowerStream, at 4:20 a.m. 938 customers in the area of Rutherford Road, Steeles Avenue, Martin Grove Road and Weston Road were experiencing a power outage.

Meanwhile, power utilities in the GTA are investigating after several customers, including some in Richmond Hill and Stouffville, complained of a strange flicker in the power supply Monday at about 9:30 p.m.

On Saturday, about 19,700 customers in Aurora, Uxbridge, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Gormley and north to almost Sutton lost power when road salt and contamination got into hydro equipment and caused pole fires.
