Magazine says Markham neighbourhoods are tops

A Canadian finance magazine has listed a number of Markham neighbourhoods as some of the top places to buy a home in the GTA.

The MoneySense article listed the top 25 neighbourhoods in the Toronto area in terms of relative affordability and growth potential.

In the No. 5 spot was Cornell, and Village Green-South Unionville was No. 6.

Milliken Mills West was seventh on the list, Old Markham Village was No. 23 and Middlefield squeezed in at No. 25.

The list also included a number of York Region neighbourhoods including Crosby in Richmond Hill, Bayview Wellington in Aurora and Maple in Vaughan.
