The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is creating a transportation master plan and the community’s input is wanted.

A public information meeting on the transportation master plan takes place tomorrow night in the town hall, 111 Sandiford Dr., from 6 to 9 p.m.

The master plan will formulate the town’s road map for a connected system of roads, sidewalks and trails that meet the needs of the community.

A drop-in session goes from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a 30-minute presentation on best practises in transportation planning in similar-sized communities, followed by another interactive session until 9 p.m.

This is the first of two public information sessions. A date for the second one has not been announced.
