Rob Ford has been appointed interim chief administrative officer for the Town of Ajax. Ford joined the town in 1984 and has served as the finance director and treasurer since 2003. The interim appointment is until the end of September. He replaces Brian Skinner, who is leaving the town after 27 years.

Steve Kanellakos has been appointed city manager for the City of Vaughan effective May 2015. He most recently served as the City of Ottawa’s city operations deputy city manager. Kanellakos replaces interim city manager Barbara Cribbett, who is retiring after five years with the city.

Paula Curtis has resigned as Vaughan Chamber of Commerce president and CEO to join the Yonge Street Mission. The chamber’s board of directors has started the search for her replacement.
