Grand Opening At Porcello Cantina

It was the grand opening of Porcello Cantina on Nov. 16th at 125 Hawksview Blvd as friends, family and the Mayor of Vaughan, Maurizio Bevilacqua, gathered to celebrate the opening of this new Italian eatery. There was an official ribbon cutting ceremony that got the afternoon started and then all the guests were served delicious food samples like pasta, Roman style pizza, porchetta and much more. We had a chance to catch up with Anthony, the owner of Porcello Cantina, as he talked about starting this new venture. “I’ve been working hard ever since I was a little boy, doing what I have to do to make it in this business. If you’re not working hard long hours, this place is never going to succeed,” he said. Finally, Anthony seemed optimistic when asked about how confident he is with his progress so far. “My partners and I have worked in here and have done everything by hand and I can’t wait to see it succeed.” Visit www.porcello.ca for more details on the menu!
