28th Annual Mackenzie Health Gala

Mackenzie Health Foundation’s 28th annual gala was a spectacular celebration of giving, bringing in a record-breaking $1.25 million in a single night in support of exceptional care at Mackenzie Health Hospital. Presented by Rogers, the evening was big on both glamour and generosity, and City’s Melanie Ng and Winston Sih sparkled as MCs.

Event co-chairs Grace Sgro and Lee Zanetti delivered a five-star evening that included live entertainment by the energetic Montreal Rhapsody Orchestra which dazzled an audience of more than 1,000 business, medical and political leaders from across the GTA. Greg Sorbara, chair of the $250-million 'Exceptional Care Belongs Here' campaign to build Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital and enhance care at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, proudly shared news of the $10-million gift made on behalf of employees of Magna International Inc. The transformational gift is the largest yet to be made toward Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital. Congratulations to everyone on organizing such a fantastic event!
