The 2015 City of Vaughan Toy Drive Launch

On Nov. 16 the Mayor of the City of Vaughan, Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council visited St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School to officially launch the city’s full-fledged Toy Drive to support CP24 and Chum City Christmas Wish! It was a wonderful early morning, which saw staff, students and parents launch this event in the gymnasium. The event featured a choir, dancers and many fun activities for everyone in attendance. The Toy Drive was accepting new unwrapped toys in the school’s foyer for any guest who was willing to donate toys for this special gathering. It’s about giving the kids who are less privileged a Christmas they will forever remember and this event got things started.
