Fire Prevention Week - Kickoff Event!

Learning about fire and life safety was the main focus of the Fire Prevention Week - Kickoff Event on October 4th. Families were invited to an exciting morning and afternoon full of great activities including inflatables, interactions, community partners, learning about smoke alarms and more. Kids were also allowed to operate a fully functioning fire house while the adults got to learn how to use a fire extinguisher. Maple Lions Club was on site to provide refreshments and barbecue for anyone interested. Donations to the Vaughan Food Bank were welcome.
