Have your say on Georgina's Official Plan

The town is in the process of reviewing its new Official Plan and you’re invited to a public meeting next week for an update.

As part of the town’s current Official Plan review process, a public meeting will be held Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. in council chambers.

It will provide an update to members of the public and council regarding the comments that were received during the public and agency consultation period for the new plan, which ended July 31, 2015.

It will also highlight staff’s associated recommended actions and invite additional comments from the public and any interested parties.

On April 8, council authorized the release of the new draft Official Plan, April 2015 for public and agency review and comment.
