Two numbered companies are seeking site plan approval for the construction of industrial malls.

Both complexes would be constructed within the Beacon Hill Business Park.

One of the plans is a 30-unit, single storey industrial mall on the northwest corner of Hoover Park Drive and Mostar Street in southwest Stouffville.

The land is 6.35 acres and the building is proposed to be 53,169 square feet, according to a report going to town council tonight.

Another phase is anticipated, which will include a third industrial building.

The other project is a two-building, 30-unit single storey industrial mall on the northeast corner of Innovator Avenue and Sandiford Drive.

The proposed industrial mall is 47,860 square feet on 3.7 acres of land.

Both sites are currently vacant.

The reports did not provide information on the businesses expected to move in.

The council meeting is Oct. 20, 7 p.m. It is open to the public. The town hall is at 111 Sandiford Dr.
