12th Annual Spirit of Community Dinner

The 12th Annual Spirit of Community Dinner was celebrated this year at the Beth Chabad Israeli Community Centre with a special building dedication ceremony honouring long-time supporters Henry and Iris Silberman. The Beth Chabad is a local organization providing crucial services to the Canadian-Israeli immigrant population in the GTA, including social, religious, cultural and educational programs under the leadership of Rabbi Yisorel Landa. The dinner brought together people from many different backgrounds to celebrate the caring connection at the heart of our community. Mayor Bevilacqua made a special guest appearance during the community dinner to talk about the building dedication and the difference it is making within the city.
