30th Anniversary of Pine York Seniors Club

Snap Vaughan East
Sept. 2015

Pine York Seniors Club celebrated a huge milestone with their 30th Anniversary Celebration. Mayor Bevilacqua stopped by to congratulate the folks at Pine York Seniors Club in addition to meeting with PYSC President, Isabella Ferrara, for this special luncheon. Established in October 1985 by previous President, Michael Spagnuolo, the club started off with 45 members and grew to 178 over the past 30 years. The club's mission is to keep seniors active, reduce isolation and foster social interaction between seniors within the community. A busy senior is a happy senior. Their club events include day trips, bingo and cards, holiday parties, picnics and luncheons. Pine York Seniors Club is one of the many clubs that belongs to the Seniors Association of Vaughan Initiative (S.A.V.I.). Please visit www.saviseniors.ca for more information.
