East Gwillimbury awards winter maintenance contract

We haven’t seen too much winter yet, but East Gwillimbury is ready as it recently awarded its winter maintenance service to Trisan Construction for $35,541.

Although only one bid was received for the project, staff said the value is within budget and is fair and reasonable.

Staff said it is using the $50,000 in savings from the adjustment in the sand-to-salt ratio to pay for sidewalk clearing.
