Snapd Vaughan East
January 2016

It was a special moment on Dec. 5th when the Maple Community Centre celebrated its 25th anniversary as it’s now been successfully running for a quarter of a century. It was an incredible moment, as staff, family & guests got the opportunity to cherish this special moment. There was complimentary cake served, refreshments provided as well as entertainment and free activities that were offered to all of the attendees. The Maple Community Centre is located on 10190 Keele Street and has been the standard of excellence and community involvement. Simultaneously, the Maple Library was also celebrating its 25th birthday. There was a family story time set up, followed by cake and light refreshments. On top of that there was a great magic show performance by Scott Dietrich. Scott’s magic show was full of fun and hilarity for the entire family. There was participation from all around and great laughs were shared by many. Not to be outdone, there were plenty of magic tricks to be shown! It’s moments like this that truly resembles what the Maple community is all about. This was a ceremonious event that brought the community together and allowed them to celebrate these two impressive milestones.
