Enjoy gala in Thornhill and support PFLAG York Region

PFLAG Canada York Region is set to hold its second annual charity gala event, Friday, Feb. 6 at the Thornhill Golf and Country Club in Thornhill.

The LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) community, family members and friends are all invited to attend.

“Holding a gala event is a great way to show the LGBTQ community in York Region that they are supported. Our local PFLAG chapter works energetically to provide support, as well as foster equality and end discrimination,” explains Linda Keith, president of PFLAG Canada York Region.

All proceeds from the gala go to PFLAG Canada York Region outreach, support and educational services.

Tickets are $65, which includes a full buffet dinner as well as dancing and entertainment. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
