'NO SCHOOL': York Catholic District School Board and York Region District School Board holding PA Day in Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and rest of region Jan. 19 for elementary schools

There's an important day coming up for some parents and children in the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) and York Region District School Board (YRDSB).

Both boards are holding a PA Day Friday, Jan. 19 which will mean "no school" for elementary school students, according to the YRDSB website.

The Catholic Board said one of the primary reasons for the PA Day is to write report cards.

"Elementary teachers will write report cards," which will be available to parents/guardians Feb. 13 after 4 p.m., according the YCDSB.
