Destination Markham has announced the return of the wildly popular Markham Jazzlicious WinterFest.

The inaugural season in 2023 was a huge success, bringing together food lovers and music enthusiasts for special evenings celebrating the culturally rich experiences that Markham has to offer.

This year’s edition sees the series double in size, with six events taking place from late January through March at culinary destinations across the city.

“The inaugural Markham Jazzlicious WinterFest series last year brought visitors from across the GTA to Markham for these uniquely curated evenings,” said Mayor Frank Scarpitti, “A program that began as an initiative to support Markham’s culinary sector during the slower season quickly became a much talked about cultural event.”

Eric Lariviere, Destination Markham Executive Director, is excited to bring back this highly anticipated musical and culinary experience.

“Eating out is one of the main ways we treat ourselves, but diners also want these social occasions to last longer and be about more than just the cuisine,” Lariviere said, “The addition of an intimate performance by some of this country’s celebrated jazz artists, paired with the culinary arts of Markham’s best Chefs, is the perfect ingredient to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences for these consumers.”
