LifeLabs holds grand opening for new facility in Vaughan

LifeLabs held a grand opening in the city of Vaughan for its Purple Creek location.

The company opened its new Patient Service Centre (PSC) that will be available to residents seven days a week. The PSC is located at 270 Purple Creek Rd., in Vaughan near the area of Teston Road and Pine Valley Drive.

One of Canada’s leading providers of laboratory diagnostic information, LifeLabs claims it supports more than 20 million patient visits annually.

Currently, LifeLabs has five locations throughout Vaughan.

Vaughan Mayor Steven Del Duca attended the opening for the PSC.

“On behalf of the City of Vaughan, I want to extend congratulations to LifeLabs on opening its new facility in Vaughan. This location will serve the rapidly growing Purple Creek neighbourhood, bringing diagnostic services closer to home,” said Del Duca.

Residents of Vaughan will be able to access the MyCareCompass digital health portal, offering free access to results, appointment booking and personalized health navigation.
