'ALL LANES CLOSED': Major traffic closures in Vaughan and Markham as well as Richmond Hill on Highway 400 and Highway 427 along with Highway 404 Nov. 6-11 trigger warnings to drivers

There are some new closures on highway 400, 427 and 404 this week and it looks like they could have some significant traffic impacts on drivers in Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill.
The Ministry of Transportation announced the new closures, which come into effect Monday (Nov. 6). They include:
Construction on Highway 427 southbound between Zenway Boulevard and Highway 7 in Vaughan will leave one lane closed Nov. 5-11 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.;
Maintenance on Highway 427 northbound between Langstaff Road and Rutherford Road will leave two lanes closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nov. 6-11;
Construction on Highway 400 northbound between Highway 7 and Langstaff Road will leave "all lanes closed" from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Nov. 6-10, according to the Ministry.
Construction on Highway 400 northbound between Major MacKenzie Drive and King Road Nov. 6-12 will leave two right lanes closed from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m.;
Construction on Highway 404 southbound between Major MacKenzie Drive and Highway 7 in Markham and Richmond Hill will leave two lanes closed Nov. 6-11 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
