The Town of Stouffville has started a parking campaign to remind residents of crucial parking regulations effective year-round, including those specific to the winter season.

• Three-hour parking limitation -- The town's parking bylaw permits parking for up to three hours. Residents seeking exemptions can obtain on-street parking permits, limited to 12 times per licence plate annually. It is important to note that these permits are not valid during winter road maintenance to ensure the efficient clearing of roadways.
• Sidewalk encroachment -- No portion of a vehicle can be parked to obstruct a sidewalk, footpath, or crosswalk to ensure pedestrian and traffic flow safety.
• Winter parking -- Between Dec. 1 and March 31 each year, vehicles are prohibited from parking on any road from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., and during winter maintenance activities. On-street parking permits ordered during winter road maintenance activities will be void.

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead, utilize off-street parking options, and communicate these regulations to neighbours and visitors.

Residents and visitors are urged to be mindful of, and adhere to, all parking regulations to facilitate snow clearing efforts and maintain safe road conditions. On-street parking is strictly prohibited during winter maintenance operations and between 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. from Dec. 1 to March 31.
