"The new Interactive trail map is a fantastic resource for both residents and tourists,” said Mayor Margaret Quirk in a news release. “It showcases the natural beauty of our community, and also promotes living an active and healthy lifestyle. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this incredible tool and explore our beautiful trails."

"The map is an ongoing project for the town, if you see a missing trail or an issue on a trail, let us know through our Report a Problem application," the town stated.

"When out on the trails, remember to download the What3Words app. If you’re lost or need emergency assistance, use the app to find the three words for your location, then give them to the emergency services over the phone. This way, emergency responders will know your exact location and get to you sooner."

The trail map is the latest in a series of online features and forms added to the town’s website, including business licences, marriage licences, building permits, short-term rental accommodations, report a problem, community resources, Georgina Fire and Rescue Services community risk portal, the winter operations snowplow tracking map, and the chatbot.
