'ALL LANES CLOSED': Significant closures in Vaughan and Markham as well as Richmond Hill on Highway 400 and Highway 427 along with Highway 404 Nov. 27-Dec. 2 trigger traffic warnings to drivers

There are some new closures coming to highways in Markham, Richmond Hill and Vaughan this week and drivers are being put on alert about potential traffic problems.
The closures were revealed by the Ministry of Transportation on the 511 Ontario site. They include:
- Construction on Highway 427 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Langstaff Road in Toronto. One lane will be closed from 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2;
- Construction on Highway 400 northbound between Major Mackenzie Drive in Vaughan and King Road in King. Two right lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. from Nov. 26 to Dec. 3;
- Construction on Highway 400 southbound on-ramp at Highway 7 in Vaughan. "All lanes closed," said the ministry. The first lane will close at 10 p.m. and open at 5 a.m. from Nov. 28 to 29;
- Construction on Highway 404 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Highway 7 in Markham and Richmond Hill. Two alternating lanes closed between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2 from 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.;
- Engineering investigation on Highway 404 northbound on-ramp at Major Mackenzie Drive in Markham and Richmond Hill. "All lanes closed," said the ministry. Taking place between Nov. 29 and Dec. 1, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
