Portion of Major Mackenzie Drive West in Vaughan closed temporarily for road work
Construction part of road improvement project expected to be completed by year end

A portion of Major Mackenzie Drive West will be shut down for a couple days for construction.
Residents should be aware that the section between Gram Street and Richmond Street will be closed down for paving by construction crews on Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
There will be intermittent road closures at the intersections of:
Major Mackenzie Drive and Gram Street
Major Mackenzie Drive and Jackson Street
Keele Street and Church Street
Major Mackenzie Drive and Richmond Street
During the closures, all traffic will need to detour. Signs, flag people and police will guide travellers.
The work is part of a road improvement project at Major Mackenzie Drive from Jane Street to Keele Street, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
