The Richmond Hill Royal Canadian Legion Branch 375 is asking for donations to honour veterans through the No Stone Left Alone program.

The program purposes to decorate more than 2,000 headstones in Richmond Hill cemeteries with:

All stones are expected to be decorated in time for Remembrance Day. As part of the commemoration, the Legion will also be partnering with the City of Richmond Hill and Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church to have a non-denominational church parade on November 12.

The program will also involve youth such as Girl Guides and Air Cadets, members of the provincial and federal government (and their constituency teams) as well as Legion members, veterans and others.

A $5 donation covers the cost for one grave. Individuals can also choose to sponsor a specific veteran or family member.

Donations can be dropped off at the Legion during opening hours, 233 Centre St. E, Richmond Hill. Cash donations are accepted, and cheques can be written to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 375 with “No Stone Left Alone” in the memo line.
