A developer is revising a proposal for two multistorey apartments in southeast Bolton along Albion Vaughan Road.
The town will be holding a public meeting on the new proposal on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. on the proposal.
JUST THE FACTS
- The applicant, Giuseppe Scenna and 12148 Albion-Vaughan Road Inc., is proposing the development for 12148 Albion Vaughan Rd., which is between Highway 50 and Albion Vaughan Road, north of Mayfield Road.
- The original proposal was for 240 apartment units and 10 townhouses; however, the town widened Albion Vaughan Road reducing the developable land.
- The revised proposal is for 265 apartment units in two buildings -- one six storeys and the other seven storeys, both of which are connected at the bottom two levels. There would be 452 underground parking spaces for residents and 10 above-ground visitor parking spots.
- The applicant needs an official plan amendment and zoning bylaw amendment to go ahead with the plans.
- To take part in the public meeting, written correspondence can be sent to agenda@caledon.ca and planning@caledon.ca. Written comments will form part of the public record.
