Muslim Women of Vaughan to host inaugural Halal Fest 2023 in Concord

The non-profit organization Muslim Women of Vaughan are holding the inaugural Halal Fest 2023 in Concord.

The event coincides with the observance of Islamic Heritage Month, to celebrate culture, diversity and community. On Sunday, Oct. 29, Halal Fest will run from noon to 8 p.m., free to the public at Bellvue Manor Banquet Hall at 8083 Jane St. in Concord, Ont. Free parking is available.

The event is a family-friendly festival that will offer a range of activities, delicious halal cuisine, live entertainment and opportunities for cultural exchange.

Mayor Steven Del Duca and city councillors, as well as other distinguished guests, are expected in attendance.
