Drivers are being alerted to lane closures on Highways 400 and 404 in Vaughan, Markham and King City that could cause delays.

Recurring construction on Highway 400 northbound between Finch Avenue in Toronto and Highway 7 in Vaughan that began Sept. 10 will continue to close three alternating lanes until Sept. 19 at 6 a.m.

More construction on the Highway 400 southbound off-ramp at Highway 7 in Vaughan will leave “all lanes closed,” according to the Ministry of Transportation, from Sept. 11 to Sept. 15. Each night, work will begin at 11 p.m. and finish at 5 a.m. the following morning.

Drivers can expect delays of up to 10 minutes during the week of Sept. 8 to Sept. 15 on Highway 404 in Markham near Highway 407.

Another construction project on the Highway 400 northbound off-ramp at the Northbound King City OnRoute will close all lanes from Sept. 12 at 11 p.m. to Sept. 14 at 5 a.m.
