Town of East Gwillimbury replacing Sharon Park

Sharon Park is going under the knife. East Gwillimbury is renovating and replacing Sharon Park, located at 1914 Mount Albert Rd. The playground is closed during the work and is expected to reopen by Oct. 30.

Sharon Park is located at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex on Mount Albert Road.

Last year, East Gwillimbury opened the Children of Peace Park in Sharon. The 5.7-acre park is located next to the East Gwillimbury Civic Centre, and the Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum.

It was one of several parks that the town opened in 2022, including Mount Albert Community Centre Park, Cupples Farm Park, Vista Hills Park and Beechwood Park.
