The City of Vaughan has plenty of splash pads to keep you cool. With splash pads spread throughout the various wards in the city,

Splash pad locations located throughout the city are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., subject to weather and surface conditions.

Here are some of the splash pads that may be open near you:

WARD 1

• Crieff Parkette (45 Crieff Ave.)
• Mackenzie Glen District Park (220 Cranston Park Ave.)
• Maple Airport Park (121 Avro Rd.)
• Maple Lions Park (350 Cunningham Dr.)
• Secord Park (15 Secord Ave.)

WARD 2

• Father E. Bulfon Park (199 Forest Dr.)
• Mapes Park (190 Mapes Ave.)

THORNHILL OUTDOOR POOL

If you’re looking for a swim, you could also enjoy the Thornhill Outdoor Pool, located at 26 Old Yonge St.

There are designated times for recreational, length and parent and tot swims as well as aquafitness classes. Pre-registration and prepayment are recommended -- you can schedule your time slot at vaughan.perfectmind.com. Limited spots will be available for walk-ins prior to the start of recreational activity. The family change room remains closed for the season due to ongoing maintenance.

The Thornhill Outdoor Pool is cashless. Debit, credit or cheque are the only acceptable forms of payment. For schedules and fees, visit vaughan.ca/swim.
