The City of Markham’s largest children’s event is back to end the summer of 2023 with a bang. The Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival, presented by Tim Hortons, returns on Saturday, Sept. 9 outside of Aaniin Community Centre (5665 14th Ave.).

The annual family-friendly festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and offers attendees a variety of free activities including lots of fun with Markham’s Park and Play Trailer, sports, arts and crafts and interactive STEM activities plus live entertainment.

“The Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival is a time-honoured tradition for families in our city,” says Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti. “Every year, we aim to bring a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy. Plus, with the ever-popular Play-All-Day Pass as an extra feature that gives children access to all rides and inflatables, this year promises to be better than ever!”

Attendees can purchase a Play-All-Day Pass online before Sept. 9 to enjoy exclusive rides and attractions for only $10 plus tax. The price goes up to $14 plus tax on Festival day. Pre-sales are exclusively online and Festival day sales, on Sept. 9, are debit or credit only.

Height restrictions apply to select rides. These can be viewed online on the festival website and on signs at each attraction. Please review to make sure your child is within the height requirements to participate.
