Church Street between Oldfield Street and Welton Street in Vaughan to be closed for water main repair

There will be water main and storm main repairs on church street resulting in a full road closure for Wednesday, August 16.

The road will be closed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and due to the location of the infrastructure being underground, a temporary full road closure is necessary.

Access to residences and business within the closure will be maintained during the period. A pedestrian access pathway will be created to ensure the residents as well as emergency access required in the area will be maintained.

Traffic control staff will be on site to assist in accommodation for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

This temporary closure is required to continue the water main and storm main upgrades. Due to the location of infrastructure underground, the full road closure is necessary to complete the work safely and efficiently.
