Metrolinx has partnered with SCOOTY, a GTA-based micromobility company, to provide affordable access to e-scooters in Brampton.

SCOOTY’s e-scooters are now available at Mount Pleasant and Bramalea GO Stations, Metrolinx said in a press release.

As part of Ontario’s approved e-scooters pilot, the project will be running until Dec. 31, 2024, Metrolinx said.

Customers will need to download the SCOOTY mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to unlock e-scooter rentals.

After creating a profile and inputting payment information, they can unlock an e-scooter from the parking hub located on the GO Station property.

Customers are required to follow all provincial and local laws surrounding electric mobility devices.

Users are cautioned that the rental e-scooters are not permitted on GO Transit vehicles or within station premises, prioritizing the safety and comfort of all travellers.
