Traversing Richmond Hill trails just got easier, thanks to a partnership between the city, Richmond Hill Mobility Accessibility Foundation (RH Mobility) and AccessNow.

Through the partnership, funded by RH Mobility, information on seven of the city’s longest recreational trails has been added to AccessNow, a free app available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app makes it easier to plan ahead and navigate trails.

The seven trails include: Saigeon, Trans Richmond, Beaver Greenway, Richvale Greenway, Thomas Broadhurst, Rouge River Headwaters and Humber Flats EcoPark.

App users can find information on levels of accessibility, surface materials, general grade/slope conditions, access points, amenities (such as benches and washrooms) and parking. Users can also share reviews and photos of their trail experiences through the app.
