Tirgan Centre for Arts and Culture receives $108K Ontario Trillium Foundation grant to help support fundraising efforts

The Tirgan Centre for Arts and Culture is receiving funding for two new stewardship positions to help its post-COVID fundraising efforts.

On June 15, the centre, based in Thornhill, received a grant of $108,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). The grant helped establish the stewardship officer and senior fundraising and business consultant positions for one year.

As a result, Tirgan has begun the process of streamlining its data and has migrated its donor data to an updated management system and steps are underway to prepare for the upcoming Tirgan Festival taking place July 20 to 23.
