Whitchurch-Stouffville moving forward with $2.89M Lloyd Street reconstruction

Lloyd Street is going under the knife in Stouffville.

Kore Infrastructure won the tender for the project with a bid of $2.89 million. The project includes the installation of storm sewers, removal of remaining ditches, replacement of water main and water service connections, the replacement of sanitary sewer and service connections, replacement of road base and asphalt, reconstruction of the western sidewalk and removal of the eastern discontinuous sidewalk.

The project extends along Lloyd Street from 60 metres south of Main Street to Rose Avenue and encompasses approximately 290 metres of road.

Construction will take place this year and the town anticipates the project will be completed by the end of the year.
