Vaughan house 'totally engulfed' by fire Saturday morning

A house in the Langstaff and Weston area of Vaughan was “totally engulfed” by fire Saturday morning, said Insp. Brad Weick of York Regional Police.

The fire on Fifth Avenue started before 11 a.m. Saturday. It may have started in the garage, police said. People who were evacuated can return to the area but must remain at a distance as officers evacuate nearby areas.
