With the summer here and the sun hot above, Newmarket residents will be happy to hear the Outdoor Gorman Pool opens June 24.

The pool, at 424 D’Arcy St., northwest of Main and Eagle streets, is open from 1 to 6 p.m.

“The wait is finally over!” the town said on its Facebook page.

“So, whether you're looking for a refreshing dip, some quality time with friends and family, or simply to soak up the summer vibes, Gorman Pool is the place to be!”
