City of Vaughan doubled infrastructure spending in 2022

The City of Vaughan has released an overview of 2022 infrastructure projects worth more than $166 million -- double the value of work completed in 2021.

The Infrastructure Development 2022 Delivery Report details city-building milestones, transportation initiatives, active transportation improvements and infrastructure projects were launched and/or completed.

“2022 was a year distinguished by achievements and milestones -- $166 million worth of infrastructure improvements was completed, which more than doubles the value of work accomplished in 2021,” said Vince Musacchio, deputy city manager, infrastructure development.

“TheĀ  2022 Delivery Report showcases the numerous capital programs and projects that advanced throughout the year to effectively manage and maintain roads, facilities, parks and more.

“Building on the successes of 2022, the Infrastructure Development portfolio is geared up to deliver even more in 2023.”
