Nominations open for Stouffville Citizen and Sportsperson of the Year

Recipients will be honoured during annual Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival

The Strawberry Festival is just around the corner in Stouffville, and nominations are now open for Stouffville's 2023 Citizen of the Year and Sports Person of the Year.

Do you know someone who made a difference in our community this year that is worthy of the title of Citizen of the Year? Those individuals who have given their time and passion to improve the lives of those around them.

The same applies to our Sports Person of the Year award -- the coaches, volunteers and players that went the extra mile this year.

Deadline for submissions is June 15. The recipients will be honoured during the annual Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival. Please send nominations for both awards to newsroom@yrmg.com.

The Strawberry Festival runs from June 30 to July 2.
