Markham sports club set to host 16th All Community Games

Markham’s Sing Fai Sports Club is set to host the 16th All Community Games, a vibrant multi-event sports competition designed to engage individuals of all ages.
The free-admission opening ceremony will take place on June 10 at the Bill Crothers Secondary School in Markham.
"With the theme of ‘a spirit of unity diversity in action’, we will bring our community together and enjoy the competition," said Joseph Fong, event organizer of the club.
The All Community Games, known for their inclusive nature and commitment to fostering community spirit since 2005, will feature various exciting sporting events spanning multiple disciplines.
“I firmly believe that events like the All Community Games are important for our community,” said Regional Councillor Alan Ho, honorary adviser of the All Community Games.
“Participating in these games allows individuals of all ages to learn from each other and build friendships that can bring a positive vibe to our community.”
Sports competitions include the following:
Saturday, June 10, 2023, badminton & soccer at Bill Crothers Secondary School, Unionville
Sunday, June 11, 2023, fencing at Toronto Fencing Club, Don Mills
Saturday, June 17, 2023, 10-pin bowling at Classic Bowl, 3055 Dundas Street W., Mississauga
Saturday, July 22, 2023, volleyball at Thornlea Secondary Public School, Thornhill
Sunday, July 23, 2023, swimming at Toronto Pan Am Centre, UofT Scarborough campus
