The City of Vaughan is once again doing curbside giveaways.
Residents can place items they no longer want that are in good condition on their property (next to the sidewalk or curb) for others to take.
This initiative gives items new life by introducing them to a circular economy and keeps them out of landfills. It also encourages recycling and helps builds a more sustainable city.
Participate in the 2023 Curbside Giveaway Days on the following weekends:
- Saturday, May 27 to Sunday, May 28
- Saturday, June 24 to Sunday, June 25
- Saturday, July 29 to Sunday, July 30
- Saturday, Aug. 26 to Sunday, Aug. 27
- Saturday, Sept. 23 to Sunday, Sept. 24
- Saturday, Oct. 28 to Sunday, Oct. 29
Mark items with a "FREE ---Curbside Giveaway" sign (PDF) and set them out between 7 a.m. Saturday morning and 5 p.m. Sunday night. The City of Vaughan asks that they are removed by 5 p.m. Sunday night or risk resulting in a bylaw violation.
