Ever passed by a familiar-looking building and been curious about what goes on inside?

For the first time in three years, Doors Open Richmond Hill will welcome the public to visit cultural sites and “discover the story behind every door.”

On May 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., choose from among 10 featured sites, where you can learn about a building’s history or participate in a tour.

Featured sites include the David Dunlap Observatory, Richmond Hill Heritage Centre (Amos Wright House), Phyllis Rawlinson Park, Artifact Collections Storage Centre, St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Thomas Boynton House Art Exhibition Space, the Burr House Spinners and Weavers Guild, St. Mary and St. Joseph Coptic Orthodox Church, Richmond Hill Hindu Temple and Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church.
