Major Mackenzie West Terminal to open April 30

New service changes are coming to York Region Transit at the end of the month.
Starting Sunday, April 30, service will resume to Canada’s Wonderland and the Major Mackenzie West Terminal will be fully open to the public.
The new terminal is located at Major Mackenzie Drive West and Amusement Drive, just west of Jane Street, in the City of Vaughan, within walking distance of Canada’s Wonderland and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.
It includes an enclosed passenger waiting area and is accessible from every direction to pedestrians, cyclists and transit customers.
The east side of the terminal will also feature a pedestrian connection to Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital,
In Aurora, transit service Route 33A on Wellington will be replaced with Mobility On-Request Aurora-Oak Ridges, a ride-sharing service that transports passengers to the nearest bus stop, or to another address if a YRT route option is not available.
