Newmarket webinar April 27 seeks to recruit drivers for older adults and people with mobility challenges

Routes Connecting Communities is looking for volunteer drivers to help older residents and those with mobility challenges with their transportation needs.

Does helping people get to their appointments, shopping and other outings sound like something you’d like to do?

Mayor John Taylor and Route representatives are hosting a webinar on April 27 at 6:30 p.m. to provide information on volunteering and answer questions from anyone interested in volunteering as a driver.

Routes is a local organization that provides safe, affordable, compassionate and timely transportation for those in need. It also offers food deliveries, connections and referrals to community programs and services, friendly phone calls, opportunities for social connection and technology support and training.

There is a chance to win prizes during the webinar.
