Want to help protect the Greenbelt? This Newmarket event is for you

Come out to the Old Town Hall May 11 for a discussion on ways to celebrate and protect the Greenbelt.

“Hear from dynamic speakers and be part of a conversation about Ontario’s Greenbelt, as we discuss how its permanent protection is essential for climate-resilient communities and a thriving local economy” a statement from organizers, Climate Action Newmarket-Aurora and KAIROS, said.

The event runs May 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Old Town Hall at 460 Botsford St.

Refreshments will be provided.

The event is free.
