Significant closures on Highway 400 in Vaughan and King City as well as Bradford April 17-22 and drivers warned about traffic delays

Multiple highway closures are expected this week in York.
The Ministry of Transportation is putting drivers on alert about the closures.
- Engineering investigation on Hwy 400 southbound between Hwy 88 and 5th Line will leave 1 right lane closed from 11 p.m. April 17 to 6 a.m. April 21, according to the Ministry.
- Recurring construction on Hwy 400 southbound between Steeles Ave. and South of Steeles will leave 1 alternating lane from 10 p.m. April 17 to 6 a.m. April 21, according to the Ministry of Transportation.
- Recurring engineering investigation on Hwy 400 northbound between Rutherford and Major Mackenzie Dr. will leave 1 right lane closed from 10 p.m. April 11 to 7 a.m. April 21.
- Recurring construction on Hwy 400 between King Rd. and Aurora Rd. will leave 2 alternating lanes from 7 p.m. April 16 to 10 a.m. April 22.
Detailed closure information:
First lane will close at 7 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m., and second lane will close at 10 p.m. and reopen at 10 a.m., from Monday to Thursday.
First lane will close at 9 p.m. and will reopen at 10 a.m., and second lane will close at 11:59 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday.
